    Preface

Nearly eleven million Christians in some 65,000 congregations around the world currently profess the New Apostolic faith. The Chief Apostle is the highest spiritual authority.

    Organization

The New Apostolic congregations of a country or a particular region form a legally independent District Church, which is led by a District Apostle. He is assisted by Apostles and additional ministers. Nearly all ministers work in an honorary capacity.

    Doctrine

Holy Scripture is the foundation of the doctrine. The Creed is comprised of 10 articles of faith. Three sacraments are dispensed: Holy Baptism, Holy Sealing, and Holy Communion. The goal of our faith is to be united with Jesus Christ on the day of His return.

    Communion

The church services are an essential part of the congregational activities. The sermon is not read. It is proclaimed without the use of a manuscript. Everyone is welcome. The New Apostolic Church offers each of its members individual pastoral care.

    History

The roots of the New Apostolic Church are found in the calling of Apostles in the UK and Germany in the nineteenth century.
